Attorney Bio.

Tracy Bussel is a Partner at Trinity & Farsiou, LLC, where she represents both public and private clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including employment law, civil rights, education disputes, professional liability, and complex contract claims. She also has extensive experience defending public entities and their employees in Title 59 and related governmental liability matters in both the New Jersey Superior Court and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

In addition to her defense work, Ms. Bussel represents individuals in employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (LAD) and the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA). She also litigates claims involving alleged constitutional violations and workplace misconduct, providing strategic, client-focused representation at every stage of litigation.

Ms. Bussel has argued motions in 19 of New Jersey’s 21 counties, as well as before the District Court and the Appellate Division. Her litigation experience includes numerous arbitrations and mediations throughout the state, where she is known for her pragmatic and results-driven approach to dispute resolution.

Her dual experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants provides her with a unique perspective that allows her to anticipate opposing strategies and deliver well-rounded, effective advocacy in even the most complex cases.

Among her notable achievements, Ms. Bussel successfully represented her clients in Crystal Ice-Bridgeton, LLC v. City of Bridgeton, 428 N.J. Super. 576 (App. Div. 2012), a published Appellate Division decision affirming that a fire chief was not required to provide 24-hours’ notice or hold a hearing before authorizing the demolition of a fire-damaged building.
