Attorney Bio.

Joe Trinity’s primary area of concentration is civil litigation. He is a Certified Civil Trial attorney, a certification awarded by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to attorneys after rigorous testing and demonstration of experience in handling and trying complex cases, together with judicial and peer recommendations. Only approximately one percent of New Jersey lawyers are Certified Civil Trial attorneys.

He has successfully tried dozens of cases throughout New Jersey, including negligence matters arising from automobile and truck accidents, construction site accidents, construction defect cases, and premises liability actions. He has also successfully tried complex personal injury cases.

Mr. Trinity also represents clients in consumer fraud matters, real property disputes, disputes arising from contracts, and other commercial matters.

He has also successfully litigated and tried numerous first-party insurance coverage actions including matters involving the interpretation of automobile policies and fraud issues.

Routinely handling both federal and state court appeals, Mr Trinity was successful in arguing a matter before the New Jersey Supreme Court involving interpretation of the uninsured motorist clause present in New Jersey standard automobile insurance policies.

After graduating law school in 1987, Mr. Trinity was employed in Livingston, New Jersey where he specialized in the defense of multimillion-dollar environmental insurance coverage actions on behalf of Lloyds of London.

In 1991, he began practicing in Hunterdon County and in 2013, he founded Trinity & Farsiou, LLC - in Flemington with Steven Farsiou.

Mr. Trinity is a past, President of the Hunterdon County Bar Association, as well as a past President and current board member of the Flemington Area Food Pantry.
